Tom Cruise Is A Nazi???

Tom Cruise has a new movie coming out called Valkyrie where he plays a Nazi who plans to kill Hitler. What are your thoughts about this movie? Does it sound good or completely lame? Do you want to see it when it comes out? My intial impression was that this was going to be one of the worst movies ever made, but I recently saw a preview for it and I have to admit I am intrigued. In the preview, the movie looked very visually interesting, so it might be pretty to watch. But I still think the plot sounds stupid. How can I be expected to cheer for a Nazi? Also, I am curious as to whether or not this movie is based on a true story or is it all made up. Does anyone know?

I am bothered by his role because he is a nazi, but he is supposed to be a good nazi. How am I supposed to like and cheer for a nazi??? That's my only real problem with this role.

so? its just a role nazi's were a while back! adn they were ***holes now the story has to be told n if we started takin issue over roles.. it would b a sad situatoin! i mean look at all the ppl who portray

As it is based on factual events, it might be interesting to see. I have seen previews. It may go on my netflix list. But I doubt I will see it in a theatre.

hi kkthom! oh who knows that tom cruise is up to! i think he is a good actor, but i think he is also pretty eccentric to the point of being crazy. anyway, i even wonder how their lives are, i mean what life is to katie holmes. she seems to be pampered, but we don't know what happens behind closed doors. anyway, if tom cruise is a nazi, it will come as no surprise to me. after all, he is a stark member of the church of scientology. hehe take care and God bless you! merry christmas!

i have heard thats a true story. you know a lot of people tried to kill him even in his own close company. because he was just getting to evil. im going to want to see it.

I have not actually seen this movie. but I'm interested in the discussion.so I can only read the comments of others. I love peace and not tolerance for racist .
