People think I am a dreamer but since you will over rule it as a profession. I would give another option they also think I am a geek! Quite a contrast! May be my look is geeky, but in reality I am far from it with very very little knowledge about computers.
People who come t hospital think I am a doctor. They have sufficient reason for it though. Apart from the expertise in the subject I have almost all other nuances associated with the profession.

The only one time someone said something like that on a professional level is when they thought that i looked like lawyer. I had to laugh it off and tell about myself. I really wonder what made that person say that, for i was not dressed like one or do not think that i displayed any mannerisms in that regard.
What do i look like ?. Now if someone looks like me what am i supposed to say

Looking back I don't think I have ever heard someeone say I belong to a particular profession when they have looked at me to be honest and when I look in the mirror I can definitely see the academic, the student in me, especially when I wear my glasses which I have to do solely for the computer, so when I am out people don't see me in glasses.

Hello balasri. It seems that most of people who don't know me can tell about my profession from the way I talk to them and the way I am dressed. Yeah, in some cases, I can also tell what other people I don't know are engaged in from their appearance and speaking manner though not completely correct.

Every day I take a textbook to the classroom to teach my student unless it is my holidays.

Hi Balaji,
Mostly people are asking me, are you working in a hospital as a nurse. But I don't think I look like nurse, it is only a common possibility as most of the south Indian ladies are working as a Nurse. There is an easy identification mark for nurses is, they prefer to wear small ornaments in ear. I am also using a small one may be that is the reason people have the doubt.

I am not really sure what people think my career is when they first look at me. I do not have a job right now, so I would have to say that maybe going out people would think I was either a couch potato or a stay at home mom. When I do go out it is always with my fiance, and while we do not go to particular areas of a store that would warrant that thought, looking at us people may think we are a young couple with children...
We are serious in our demeanor's.

Hi balasri. In the past, wherever I go, ppl keep on asking me am I a teacher. And then I asked why they'd think I am a teacher. Guess what, they said I was gentle and something in the air showed that I must be a teacher. What's more crasy, they think my parents must be teachers, too, lol.
And after I got to my new job about three months ago, ppl think I am a lover and that's my profession, I guess. So sad and weird. I mean, I haven't changed my appearance. My old friend who hasn't seen me for 8 years can still recognise me when he catched me on the first sight, saying I am not changed at all. Then I defended that my hairstyle changed and I became taller. Your face is the same as before, that's what he said.
From teacher to lover, not bad, huh?

Hehe. It's really difficult to judge which profession suits my appearance the most. Of course, if that's the case, I will state the profession which I'm interested in.
But as for others' opinion about me, I usually hear people say to me that I look like an engineer, and there are a number of others who say that I look like a businessman.

People think I am a teacher. Maybe my facial expressions are such that they feel I am a teacher.
I like to make people think I am ateacher because the very idea of being a teacher gives one a sense of power, a sense of dictatorship. It is a very nice feeling; this feeling of being able to dominate other people.

First impressions may be misleading and many people guessed it wrong on what profession I belonged to. It seems that several of the guesses were based on where I was seen. Below are several inaccurate guesses.
- A police officer belonging to CID or Special Branch
- An army personnel belonging to the Special Forces unit
- A delivery boy because I used a motorcycle in the city and wore appropriate clothing whereas at that time I was an admin executive
- A student at a university
- A teacher at a time when I was not one
all the best,
