Aren't we the lucky ones!!

My sister has bowled in this league for a few years and this is my second year. This year the secretary called me to tell me about the season starting and when the meeting was AND she informed me that the mother/daughter who had gotten my sister on the team were not returning this year! We had no idea. SO we were in the position of finding 2 more bowlers and did, but not without a struggle. Now I am bragging and telling you that we took first place for the first half and it is the first time that my sister has ever taken first place on a bowling team and she is so excited. We were lucky going into the last week that we didn't need to win any games, since we didn't! My question is, is it wrong for my sister to put a note in her Christmas card bragging it up to her "friend", who is NOT bowling, that we took first for the first half? That friend never even bothered to call and tell us that she was not returning and still hasn't called us. I think she should brag it up as much as she can!!

Well B, as long as someone has a good excuse to brag, I think they should. Way to go, and good for her.

Thanks, danishcanadian! I thought so, too. And I think she sent her Christmas card with a note telling her that. I wouldn't have bothered to send her the card in the first place.....but I'm not her!
