i got my hands on two books of enid blyton's children stories back in 1989. i love reading and re-reading those books, since the stories are so good, so imaginative, and they leave you with lots of lessons and values. right now, those two books are in my special closet, together with my "ancient" Reader's Digest copies which date back to as early as 1963. i consider them as childhood mementos, but i still like taking them out and reading the stories all over again. =)

Hi, I grew up with Enid Blyton - I loved to lose myself in the adventures of her stories, especially the Secret Seven, naughty schoolgirl and the fantasies of the fairies, pixies and elves. Unfortunately I do not have any of my old books with me, since we have moved house years back.

hi lazeebee! thanks for posting a response to my discussion! =) she writes beautiful stories that can really stir up the reader's imagination, whether the reader is a child or an adult. it's good also that despite the advent of modern technology, and mankind's preference for audio-visual entertainment, almost all of us can still whip up our imaginations thru reading.
thanks once again and more power to you! =)
