I like play games, and have played all kinds of game console, I think the Android smart psp is very good, because it support 64 bit games, that means most game formats can be play on it, of cause include 3D games and online games via wifi, and it have the function like the tablet pc. if you want play the games in a cool style,
7 inch big screen is a best choise, but if you want to easy carry it, 4.3 inch is good. this two style is always support HDMI, so you can play it with your large TV screen.
if you play more touch games, I suggest you choose the capacitive screen, It react faster and durable.
It is my opinion, hope it can help you when you buy a psp.

Hey,
I was kinda in the same situation as you. But just wait a moment. Did you know that the Nintendo DSi is coming out and has actually come out in Japan if I am correct? The new features include a built in camera on the outside and inside of the Nintendo DSi, and an SD card slot that you can insert in. Also has a bigger 3.25 inch screen comparing with the older ones which only have a 3 inch screen. BUT...the main downside to the Nintendo DSi is that there is no GBA game slot. Oh well, lets just hope that someone will bring out a GBA emulator for the Nintendo DSi.
Personally, the PSP has got WAY better graphics and way better overall game system than the Nintendo DS. BUT the games absolutely SUCK! Honestly, just because the PSP games suck, I would recommend the Nintendo DS. Mariokart DS, and all the good Nintendo DS games makes if FAR more fun than a PSP. Trust me, that is why I have got a Nintendo DS! Hope this helps!

It depends on what you want to do with it - if you are a gamer - I would get the DS. If you want to watch movies and surf the net - get the PSP.

Well, if you are someone who could afford both, I might as well buy both a PSP that runs on Custom Firmware as well as a DS that has R4. Having both just makes it convenient since I could play games on both hand helds and there are some games that can only be played on each unit.

I would get a Nintendo DS, but it really depends on your taste. If you like platforming and *aherm* drawing, DS is probably for you.
Another factor to consider is PSP is crashing (in my opinion). At my local GameStop, the PSP games are on a little stand, while DS has an entire wall. In short, DS has more variety.

I prefer the DS. I like the interactive gaming that is possible through the touch screen, the controls are easy to understand and there are just so many different games available. It seems the PSP is nothing but shoot em up games while the DS has puzzles and everything else available.
