Hi. sreejithsreenivas. I don't use a mouse pad now, but I have done so in the past though. I wonder if an optical mouse has a ball like formation? I think that I may have seen this, but I am not really sure.

Hi I cannot do the work without mouse pad. Its helps to move the mouse smooth and also the cursor i guess. But many are comfortable with that too.

I still have a mouse pad for y mouse. becaus I still use the old scroll type of mouse that needs a mouse pad. Yep, you can say I have not moved up when it comes to using a mouse with a computer. But that is okay. At least this way I will not loose it. As it is attached to my computer.

Optical mouse doesn't require any mouse pad. Even if it doesn't need a mouse pad, i use one because i don't like my mouse being moved on the table.
