I'm single,but i really think about this.
my friend and i dicuss this sometimes.we think family is important for a woman, but it's doesn't mean you must give up you career.
in fact,we think if you always depend on others,i mean, you husband,it's dangerous.to keep away from this, you need a job.
but, don't cost you family to get overfull success,it can't make you happy.

I'm single too.I agree with you.I think woman can't always depend on her husband. It will take away your self-confidence. It can't make you happy but would make you unhappy.

To me both are important and I have been very lucky till date to have been managing both. My job gives me money which plays a vital part in the family resources and to my psyche. Thankfully, my family realizes too how important my contribution is and they take care of my child in my absence. That said, it is equally true that I understand how important family is and every hour outside my office is spent with my family, caring for them and just being in their midst.

I have been in many situations where I have to choose between my career and family. And I always pick the family. For me my personal life is moreimportant than my professional life.I have never beeing sorry for my decisions and I always feel good when I remeber that my family is always first.I don`t have any idea why.I just care too much for them.I can`t leave them and just go to work.It feels like...I don`t care.So thats my opinion.
*Sorry for my English!!!*

i think i would prefer to try balance between both as hard as i can,but if i were in a situation where i had to choose between both,my family would come first and anything else could just wait and come second..what would YOU choose?you didn't tell us your opinion.

According to me professional life is more important as compared to personal life....because in todays world it is really important to be independent.. and we should not depend on others for our basics....of course personal life is also equally imp and i think its really easy 4 a woman to manage both

Both are important to me...although I've never been to a situation where I have to choose between my career and family...My husband and I, we both understand each other...we know that we have to help each other in order to have a good life and a better future for our future son...I'm already on my 7th month of pregnancy and I'm still working.

well i have decided to resign my job when i get married for we have the problem to the place where i am working. he said that he will find me a job where we are living now. Its sad to say that until now its been 13 years of marriage and i am here at home doing nothing because of his promises he never realize that i have a feelings.
He said that it is not a big salary of what i am working and he can afford to give enough money to support the family but now i feel desperate because we have a big financial problem and the words that said was a big lose for him because he is too much confident saying the words but in reality its opposite.

ya true many women ended up like that.. But it is good if you are trying now.. one thing i understand we should not rely on anyone to help us finding a job..
