Hey,
Well actually they said that they were aiming Windows 7 to be compatible with all computers, therefore meaning that they also were going to make it less heavy like Vista and more like Windows XP! So far what I know of is that they have firstly made the boot time and the shut down time alot faster. I have even seen a video of the microsoft people doing the comparison between Windows 7 and Windows Vista. They have also made Windows 7 to use up less memory even though the people have the same amount of windows open. That is all I know so far, but I think it will be compatible with most laptops and probably with the Netbooks. Lets just hope for the best!

I've played around with a pre-beta version of Windows 7, and for the moment it's really very much like vista from the outside. The real changes have been on the inside. Still, there's not much we can tell right now, at least not until there's a proper Release Candidate released.
The super-taskbar thing seems to be the most attractive thing about it right now, let's see what it holds in store for us.
