I love decorating the tree with my kids so we start early and decorate it a little at a time because we make the orniments as we go along its different every year. The only thing that stays the same is the glass ball that were my grandmothers. They have been passed along through the years and soon enough My sons will get them for their tree. Thanks for your reply.

I ususally decorate my tree about a week before the holiday. My cats like to use the tree as a toy. When I was little, my family use to decorate the tree about a week after Thanksgiving. The tree was an artificial one because my mother was allergic to the pine scent.

Every year is different! If the weather is good then the outside gets decorated right after Thanksgiving and the tree gets decorated the following week-end. If the weather is cold, rainy or windy the tree and the inside of the house gets decorated right after Thanksgiving. This year the outside was deocrated first, it was warm and beautiful the day after Thanksgiving, so the tree in the house waited until 1 week after Thanksgiving.
