Are you just someone interested in sending and receiving call and every now and then and occasional text .In that case an ordinary cell phone would suffice. On the other hand, if you are someone who is trendy and needs to download bling ring tones, games and music, movies and other things from the internet ,if you are always surfing the internet and cant do without ,if need to be able to play your music and watch movies ,if you are always changing your screen saver then maybe a PDA phone (or at least a high end phone )would be more along the lines of what you want. Which of the above does it for you ,ordinary phone or PDA phone ?

I used to have a PDA style phone. I liked it at first, but I got tired of the touch screen. Whenever I would accidentally touch the screen, it would call the last person I had called. It was a pain in the butt. So now, I just have a regular cell phone that makes calls and do text messages and such.

I only need a basic model phone to enable me to keep in touch with my family or to call for help in an emergency. Mine does have a radio but I've never listened to it and I haven't played any of the games nor even downloaded any tones/wallpaper etc.

I have both of them. The high-end phone really suffice my needs. I am able to download my favorite songs on my cellphone, since I am a music lover, that would be an advantage for me. I also used to take pictures and save them for my remembrance. In this way, I will be able to reminisce my friends and family even though they are faraway to me.

I strongly prefer a smart phone. I actually have two of them: an iPhone and a Blackberry. The iPhone is my personal phone and the Blackberry is for work. I use both of them quite extensively on a daily basis and don't know what I would do without them. My work requires me to be constantly in contact whether or not I am in the office and I use the Blackberry for email and also as a modem for my laptop. The iPhone I use to call people, to text, to play games, to listen to music and to browse the net. I have even posted to MyLot on occasion using the iPhone. I use the iPhone for all of these activities on a daily basis and find it extremely convenient. I also use the iPhone to take pictures but not on a daily basis. I also use the iPhone to catch up with TV shows I've missed but also not on a daily basis.

i have my laptop for surfing internet. So i dont prefer a PDA phone. i think a normal cell phone with a good camera and good sound would be the best thing. They are smaller than PDA. PDA's are sensitive and their screen can break easily as compared to normal cell phone. For me in a cell phone the most important thing is its camera in the features. I have a nokia N95 and i think its almost perfect. I can take good pictures the video quality is excellent i can use the headphone to hear songs which gives amazing sound quality. whereas PDA's dont have good camera as well as sound quality

I'm definitely just an ordinary phone user. PDAs aren't my style, although it may be because I've never tried using one Maybe when I do I'll be so impressed that I'll never look at the ordinary cellphone again. I do like the look of the Blackberry and Sidekick phones. We'll see, maybe when I start working I'll need one; But for now, I'm good with just the ordinary cellphone.

ofcourse, i would go for a PDA...it is something that every geek dreams about..i really am trying hard to earn myself a pda...i hope i get to my target soon..PDA's are so multi functional and we can also surf internet via a PDA...also listening to music, watching movies and playing 3d games is so much fun...its a full time gadget with almost all the facilities that you can ever imagine..given a chance i would always grab my hands over a PDA.. thanks happy mylotting

I use a smart phone at the moment, but when my contract is over, I am going to get a phone that had the full keypad, but does not have all the bells and whistles my phone has, because I hardly even use them all. The main reason I am changing is because the bill is so much money. All I care about is the full keypad and unlimited text, I hardly use the internet or word on my phone.
