Do you know that recent information shows that a computer worm called 'koobface' being spread through social network 'facebook' and 'myspace'. The worm tricks the user with some exciting heading message to appear as it has been sent from his friend. The tempting heading of the message leads the user to open the message which in turn leads to downloading some video codec or activeX plug in to see some video. Once the user is tricked and downloads, in fact the virus is downloaded. The virus not only steals private information but leads to malicious websites. The virus started spreading for mid August 08. So be careful about tempting headline messages, even it appears to be from your known friends. Have a good anti virus software installed and avoid downloading any software from unknown or unfamiliar websites. Happy mylotting.
