Do you let your family know where you are?

Depends - if I'm going out-of-town or overseas, I would let them know. I would call them once I arrive at my destination, and when I would be back. Or if I'm going to be home later than usual, I would call so that they won't worry about me.

I do this too. i think it is a good idea. What if you got into an accident and your cell phone got totaled? I insist on this from my daughter as well.

hi sr ganesh! yup! it is standard operating procedure in my home and even now that i am living with my in-laws (with my husband, of course), they know where i am. i think it is a sign of respect to them and at least they will not worry wherever i have gone. also, when i am late, i inform them, as well as if i am not eating at home so they won't have to prepare for me. i think it is one good rule that every family should have. or at least a family that cares... don't you think? :-) take care and God bless you! have a merry christmas! :-)

I also inform my family if i am going to some where other than my usual place. I share every thing with the family. I mean some achivements on the day and what i did on that day like that. My dad also has this habit as he is business man always travel from my home to the city where i am living on some business purpose. I call him for every 2 hours while he was in journey and i came to know that how far he is from me. He also like that only when i went to some tours with friends or on some education purpose he also called me so mnay times even i am out of my state. He is also interested in knowing where i am, what i am doing etc.

For me, I think that letting your family know where you are is really a good habit. It is just a sign of giving respect to each member. This is a good habit because it will keep them away of worrying what is happening or where are you right now.I believe that each family members are loving one another. They just want to be sure that you are always safe. I didn't realize how my family loves me, until I went to a place and not letting them know where I am.When I got home, I was confronted by my mother. I was beaten because of what I did. Then my mom explain to me why she hurt me. She just want to discipline me because she loves me.She told me that I must respect them. That I must keep in mind to tell them wherever I go because they are worrying.Accident can happen anytime. And if I just decide on myself I must be not safe because bad people are everywhere.She told me that I still need guidance. And wherever I plan to go, I have to make sure that I tell it to anyone at home.

yes.familly is a mosst important part in our life.so i alway let them know where i am.you are a god man,god bless you.

It is a good habit. I mostly do that.
