Well, before switching on my spam guard setting, I was been getting spam email in hundreds everyday. The more I was getting in is yahoo mail than Gmail. But now, after turning on the spam guard setting in the yahoo mail I rarely get any spam emails. Thank god I edited my spam guard setting and turned it on. But even after turning the spam guard on, I get some spam emails. When I get them, I report it as 'spam' by pressing the "spam" button in the top and the email setting automatically block them.

hi Vince, could you tell me how to find spam gaurd button on yahoo and how to edit it. Yahoo really gets lot of spam than any other id.

thanks for replying back, i will turn on spam guard right away, and i will add the sender's e-mail in the my mailing address book.. thanks again..that was very help.

I have the same email accounts as you and for me yahoo gets the most spam about 90-100 a day and hotmail comes in second. They are very annoying.

yeah yahoo get the most of the spam and it really annoying..
... i think they should introduce something the could block those ID's or IP address so we don't recieve spam..

hi ruubje, yeah compared to me you get pretty less spam, my Yahoo a/c get the most spam, if i dont delete it, then the number of spam may reach to thousand's in a month. So i have to get through the pain to delete them everyday..

Well if i can saw all other post and discussion then i can say that my email got less spam. I get 2-3 spam in my gmail, not even a single in yahoo and hotmail.

I don't get any at gmail or hotmail or at the email I have with our local ISP. But at Yahoo I get about 600 or more per day! I also get lots of junk mail at my writing.com email account, but I never bothered to count how much. Too much.

It varies for me. Among all my email accounts i average about 200 minimum DAILY... one account used to get 300 daily but if you check the bottom of SOME spam emails you can opt out. But be careful because unless it is from a known company you might just be confirming your email address.
