How to post Google Adsense Code in blog from blogger?

I created a blog with blogger site. I have my google adsense account also. I copied the adsense code and pasted it in the "create" of "posting" menu. I turned on "Edit html" also. Please give me the step by step procedure of putting google adsense ads on my blogger blog. Please mention every step in detail. Please help me.

Use the help section on Blogger. Just type into the box what you want to do and it will take you to pages that will explain how to put the code into your blog.
