What are some good books for 2-3 grade boys?

My family and I are trying to find some good books to get my younger cousin for Christmas. My aunt told us he's at a 2nd-3rd grade reading level. He really seems to like Power Rangers, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon, so if you know any books relating to those interests that would be especially helpful. Any books suggested need to be available in English. Although, if you know any educational English/Spanish books, we'll take those into consideration as well. All suggestions are appreciated.

There are books in the Pokemon and YuGiOh series, I have seen them in my son's book order form he brings home from school. Also try the Lemony Snicket series - my 11 YO liked those very much.

My daughter is 8 and kind of a tomboy. She likes reading the Magic Tree House books. She also has quite a few of the Pokemon chapter books. They have them in regular chapter books and also junior chapter books too if he's not ready for full chapter books yet.

I have twin 8 year old boys and they enjoy the good old Dr. Seuss books and Amelia Bedelia books very much. They also love the I-Spy books too.

The Tree House books are good. I don't know if he is able to read chapter books yet or not. His parents could help him. My son use to love them.
