God, I'm glad I'm not hooked! I got away from religion as a young married man. Once off the Hook I no longer needed to support a religious organization, and had no worries about Heaven or Hell. These fictitious destinations no longer existed for me. I do not fear God, because his Absolute Love demands nothing in return. My God makes no demands whatsoever! He has no need to be Feared, or Worshiped, and He couldn't care less if I read the Bible. My God does not threaten! I am not frightened of Him. I stand upright with open eyes, wearing Hat and Shoes, as I thank Him for my daily bread. All seven days are Holy in my life, with Sunday being the best day to begin anew. I need no Preacher, Priest, or Rabbi, to translate God's word for me. God and I speak the same language of Love. We always have! Thank You God, for being there, and for letting me off the Hook.

What is that you fear most barehugs? With or without religion or belief we are all children of God. God is our provider and religion is our pillar in life to do good things on earth. Truly it has been said that man does not live by bread alone. To be truly happy, we must feel that life has a purpose, that it is surging toward some great event to which the whole creation moves. You must feel that you, yourself, have some part, no matter how small, in this march of the universe. Faith means that you must believe in God who loves you, who bears your troubles in his heart and so makes it possible for you to bear him. You must feel that God is a God of infinite love and will hold you up and not suffer you to be dismayed.

Fear is one of the emotions which does not enter into my Spiritual belief. My God does not frighten me nor does He need me to Fear Him. Organized Religion is a Scam which is not something I need in my life either. I am truly happy with my Spiritual beliefs, and with my life. As I look back in this life, and even beyond, to some my Past Lives, I realize how big a Part I have played in this,"march of the Universe," and of course I am proud! I happily avoid the Religious (Blind) Faith,( of which you speak) which would TELL me what I MUST believe, and How I Must feel, and of course, I suffer Not!

This reminds me of a nice saying that's been around for a few years:"Today is the first day of the rest of your life." But now I'd like to coin a companion saying: "Today is the last day of your past." Those two messages don't mean the same thing. The first advises us to get our life going the way we want it to go. The second means: get rid of old failures, taboos, inhibitions that have kept us from being what we can be.
We should not be brainwashed to accept any religious doctrine against our wishes. Neither should we be handcuffed by all those spiritual beliefs which we have dragged up from history.

So there are others out there that feel the same way that I do. I thought so.
I don't believe in all the pompous bullsh1t either. Just simple God.
He forgives me, he advises me, he helps me along when I need it.
I don't have to PROVE IT to anyone by going to a church.
HE KNOWS, that's all that matters.

There are many of us out there Annie! Our numbers are increasing each day as the consciousness of the world rises. Its wonderful to talk to God firsthand without the perceived need of a Priest or Pastor to do the translation. We are indeed Blessed!
