I want to make chocolates or peanut brittle or something as Christmas gifts for my family (to save a little money this year). Does anyone have a great recipe for something not super complicated that will pack and ship well?

Do you have a cake decorator kit? If so, I have the easiest candy recipe for you to make. Take 1 can of chocolate frosting and one bag of peanut butter chips. Melt them togehter on the stove and put the mixture in the cake decorator ~ where you would put frosting. Make small penny size drops of the chocolate/peanut butter mixture on wax paper. Put them in the fridge to cool off and harden. These are great little candies and everyone loves them.

Cute! I don't have a cake decorator kit. Do you think I could do small spoonfuls? Maybe using two spoons to make a little round? I'm not sure if they'd harden properly if that big. What do you think?

Maybe if you take a ziplock baggie and fill it with the mixture. Then you can just snip a tiny piece off one end and use that to squeeze the candy out. Give it a try.
