I have been coming to mylot for a relatively short period of time. I get the impression that a lot of the people here, only want to make money from their conversations and don't really give good referrals to help people that really want to lose weight or learn about exercising. It seems that if you post a link to a site it is looked down upon.
The reason i say this is websites are designed for two reasons, actually three, to give out information, to make money or a combination of both. I have started a diet and exercise website, I try to put in good information from reliable sources and that information is free. I also have programs listed there that if someone wants to join they can and yes I get paid for those. I have links to several medical clinics and try to find and put in informational news articles. I also write blog entries based on my own experiances with diets and exercise.
Am i wrong? Have i missed judged a majority of mylotter's based on comments from a few.
COME ON YOU GUYS TELL ME!!
The title of my site is TBD Life Style Changes, and you can visit it at, http://terrybdavis.wordpress.com leave a comment, tell me what is good, what is bad, or do what a lot of people have done and simply trash me on mylot.
Sorry if i sound negative, I just don't understand the response I have gotten from a few people here based on the over 155,000 that come to mylot.

Maybe if you told people how much weight you lost they would be more interested to visit the site?

LCHBheart,
I lost 25 lbs., in 8 weeks. I was 205 and went down to 180. I used a combination of eater healthier foods, reduced sugars, salt, and exercised for about an hour a day. I did a circit training of push-ups, pull-ups, chin-ups, leg lifts and wide grip pull ups behind the head. The following day i worked up to runing on a tred mill at 3% incline for an hour, it took me about 5 weeks to work up to that, I started with a min. run, 2&1/2min walking. After the tred mill and about an hours rest, I did 4sets of 20 bent leg crunches and side leg lifts, an then used a wheel that i rolled out infront of me from a kneeling position, and returned. 4 sets of 20. Every five days I took a 2 day break. I hope this helps.

Tdavis, why didn't you post your experience into your blog ? it will make your blog more legitimate. Currently I felt that your blog are too commercialize, ie too many affiliate's products.
You don't expect people to buy them just reading few post of your blog. You need to build up your reputation before people will trust your recommendation. So I suggest you keep writing quality post and information on weight lost before u start selling.
