Hi all. Sorry I haven't been around for awile. Things got really busy for my family. We almost lost my husband this year to a heart attack. He's only 46 years old. I have been trying to get him to follow doctors orders but you know how men are. He's doing well. He had heart surgery. They put in a stint, and did two angioplasties (can't spell).
He's on a ton of meds now two. I wanted to know if anyone else out there has gone threw a heart attack or living with someone who has?

Hi there beautyoperater. First of all, I just hope that your husband is recovering well.
I had some personal experiences with heart attacks with 2 members of my family. One grandfather that had an attack when he was 60 years old (now is 85) and my father that had an heart attack 5 years ago. Although for a while both of them were respecting the medication and the diets, soon after both moved back to their old habbits. When each member of the family went to them and told them how much they are needed, the things moved back to the positive track. I think everyone in the family should have alot of patience, but after the crisis has passed you have to tackle not only the physical but also the psychological causes of these attacks.
Take good care of you
