Phone calls

We got rid of our land lines for two reasons. 1st reason was the solicitations and the 2nd was why pay for both. Most people I know use their cell phones only and the ones that do have land lines only have them because their cell phones don't get good reception at home. Funny thing is, that we still get solicitation calls on our cell phones! We get one almost every day about the warranty on our car getting ready to expire...we don't have a warranty on our car! We own it outright! We can't seem to stop them from calling because it's always a recording! When you try calling the number back it doesn't work! Now I only answer the phone if I know who's calling. If I don't know, they can leave a message! Rhonda

I have both a home phone and cell phones but have never used or gave anyone the number to my home phone.It just came with my cable bundle that I got. I am on the Do not call list and was still receiving calls but when I quit giving out my number they have all stopped. At stores or online when they ask for my number I don't give it to them. Ever since I have stopped doing that I have never had anymore solicitation calls.
