Ever had a stalker or someone who was overly interested in you, either online or in reality?
I have online, I had a myyearbook account, and dumb me added my last name, and bam, this guy kept writing to tell me how attractive i was to him.
and the next message i got from him was, "is this your phone number and address?", he did a background search on me and got my dads house number and address. I lied and told him no.
he also found my flickr, myspace, stickam and photobucket account. all just my googling my name and email address.
Be careful out there guys!

That's CREEPY.
My friend used to be followed home by this boy, (im not using his real name I'll just call him Joe) when we were in grade nine. Whenever another guy talked to her, "Joe" threatened to beat them up. Once the cops had to come because he pulled a knife on one of the guys!!!! Also, once a guy was holding hands with my friend and she was actually interested in the guy and "Joe" took the guy's little sister as a hostage and wouldn't tell where he had hidden her until the guy promised to leave my friend alone!!!!

Okay I don't necessarily have a stalker, but someone who just looks at me all the time and it really creeps me out! I'm the youngest one at this car dealership I work for at 18 and there is a man in finance who is .. I don't know! He's like 40 I guess. He's pretty new and when he would bring me deals for the cars he sold he's tell me that I was pretty and stuff and I would just says "haha.. thanks.." He's stopped because I started telling people that he creeps me out, but he still stares at me every time I go into the showroom to go to the bathroom or when he still brings me deals. Ugh it creeps me out so much.. So I still tell people he's creepy. LOL

I've had a stalker in real life. This guy has been after me since I was a kid (he's my age) and he just won't take no for an answer. He's married now with a kid and that doesn't even seem to stop him from being interested in me and it's rather old. I don't see him hardly at all anymore thankfully as I'm away much and that definitely helps the creep factor but my mother seems him quite often or used to at least and has all these stories to tell about how he talks about me and I just don't want to know.

I had lots my whole life and they really bothered me. Not only online but in real life too. I lost the chance of being happy living in Holland cause I had a friend there that made my life a misery bothering me to be with him.

When I was in high school, this girl used to wait for me outside of all my classes, and I never told her what my schedule was. She would follow me everywhere I went. She practically chased me one day, and my friend told me to cut through the boys bathroom because it had two entrances. So we did and I laughed and said "HAHA! You can't come in here". We got outside and ran across the street. Then when I turned around she was standing right behind us.

One time I did have a particularly disturbing incident in which I thought I was being followed. It goes like this…
I was walking home from the grocery store in the middle of the day. I had just when shopping and was meeting a friend back at home to put away our food. As I was walking down a side street at first I saw car pass me, nothing unusual there so I kept going but then, I noticed the same car passes me again. I speed up and start to go faster as I am almost home and thought I could probably get home before I saw that car again, or before the person saw where I lived. I get to the next intersection, and I have a decision to either go to the store to my right, the opposite direction of my home, but closer to people, lights and help or to continue home.
Next thing I know the same particular car is behind me and now my heart is beginning to race because there's no doubt in my mind that this is the third time this particular car has passed me in less than 5 minutes. As I'm deciding what my next move is going to be, the individual, who by this time I know is a woman because she's yelling at me, starts telling me to stop! I still can't figure out what's going on, and I'm thinking to myself if this person is a stalker they're not very good at it. What is happening doesn't make any sense. So I get up the courage to turn and confront the stranger whose car I do not know and whom I've never met to see what their sudden interest is in me.
You will not believe what the problem was and why she was intent on flagging me down... Bear with me as this is not meant to be a judgment against anyone or any particular set of beliefs, however this woman desperately needed to stop me so that she could render aid and heal and my physical disabilities so that I can get out of my wheelchair and walk on my own.
So, the moral of the story is that not all "stalkers" have a malicious intent. Some just have a unique idea of helping. Looking back, I am glad that I got up the courage to confront her and find out her concern. I can just imagine what the outcome might have been had I went to the store instead and ask for help! All those it certainly was not humorous at the time, I find it gives me a chuckle now when I think about it. Just imagine if I had decided to call the police?
That's just my first hand experience with strange people acting in a strange manner. Happy Mylotting!

I have an ex that would always show up at my house or I would see her parked down the street, show up at job sites, send me letters, emails, she would find out if I was dating and who and then harass them.I even found out she was using my last name.she would go to or call family members houses.this was very difficult because I am still very involved in the lives of her children.(we where together for 7 years and I consider the kids part of my family)finally three years later she has stopped all of this and I haven't seen or heard from her for about 6 months now.
