I was watching TV today, and since it's Christmas time there are tons of advertisements for children's toys. That got me thinking to my own Christmas in as a child and how happy and excited I would be to see which toys I got this year! I think that all of us know of a child who has a favorite toy, stuffed animal or blanket. That particular toy or blanket is the absolute best! No other toy is as good as their favorite. Or perhaps it is a blanket or stuffed animal, then they may not be able to sleep without it. What was your favorite toys of all time while you were growing up? I know, without a moment's hesitation. My favorite toy was a doll. It was a Robbie Hobbie doll to be exact. I carried him everywhere I went! Sadly, then he began to lose his hair, the top of his hair fell off and my mom was afraid his stuffing was going to start coming out. Somehow, my mom convinced me that it was time to get rid of my Robbie Hobbie doll, because he was starting to fall apart. Even though as an adult I know it was just a silly stuffed animal, I still remember it fondly. What about you? What was your favorite childhood toy? What ever happened to it?
