I've narrowed things down. Which one would you choose?

I have been thinking of purchasing a new title for my Nintendo DS since I recently finished The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I started a discussion on myLot asking for recommendations and I was given some very helpful advice. I have since narrowed my choices down to:
- Metroid Prime: Hunters
- Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword
- Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
- Super Mario 64 DS
- The World Ends With You
- Star Fox Command
Which one would you choose and why?

I would definitely take Super Mario 64 for the DS. Great game if you like the old games with a lot of new twists and looks a lot better. I love it. I personally own most of these games and Super Mario 64 DS is my personal favorite without a doubt. I really like the Mario games though,, but am open to others and still liked that game much better than the others.

Thank you very much for your comments. I was aware that Super Mario 64 DS is somewhat different from the N64 version, but I was not sure how much the two versions varied from one another. I do know that you control different Mario Bros. characters during different points in the game. Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Wario I think? With an avatar like the one that you are using, is it any surprise that a Mario game is your personal fave? Cheers.

I think that you are correct and it is a graet game, but has been a while since I played it. It should be obvious that Mario games are my favorite, but not sure if people know that. If they did how?

Well, of course they won't be able to read your mind, but judging from your avatar that can make a pretty good guess and speculate that you are a Mario Bros. fan. After all you are using a picture of Mario from the very first Super Mario Bros. game. It is an absolute classic and a great game. Cheers.

I'd prefer Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
you know Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword is a bit hard to play, but it's worth playing.
As a Castlevania fan,I won't miss any version of Castlevania,It worth playing because it is Castlevania! However,I don't recommend The World Ends With You,I've played it,and I think it isn't worth it.that's my advice.

I appreciate your comments. I don't might a challenge and often find that harder games tend to keep me interested longer. I have played every Castlevania game for each Nintendo console, so I would imagine that sooner or later that I will get my hands on Order of Ecclesia. It has been given the thumbs up by several members on myLot already. Thanks.

I'd get all of them if you could afford them. If you've never played the original Super Mario 64, you're sure to love the DS version. You can control with the stylus or the control pad. (I mainly use the control pad.) It's got the three extra playable characters, plus 30 (I think) more stars than the original. Metroid Prime: Hunters and Star Fox: Command are both older games, so you might have to e-bay them. I've played very little of those games, but now that you mentioned Metroid Prime: Hunters, I've remembered another game I should look up on e-bay. I've played a demo of Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. It seemed kind of hard, but if you like the NES Ninja Gaidens, you'd probably like this one. I've never played Castlevania: OOE, but I'm sure it'd be good since it's Castlevania. I've never played The World Ends With You, but it seems to get a lot of rave reviews.

Thank you for your extensive comments. I don't have a problem getting my hands on any of these games. Most are still available in stores that are in my area and, even if they weren't, I can get them at the flea market. I am sure that I will pick-up several of the titles eventually, but I wanted to know which game others thought that I should concentrate on first. I did really enjoy the NES Ninja Gaidens, but it has been a considerable amount of time since I have played them. Sometimes a harder difficulty level can be advantageous if it extends playtime and keeps one interested. Cheers.
