People With No Sense of Humor

I have a good sense of humor. It's how I was raised. Everyone in my family likes to joke and tease each other. So when I get around people that have no sense of humor, it pisses me off. I just can't stand being around people who take everything seriously and get mad when you try to joke with them. I have co-worker like that. She broke the pen that we sign our time sheets with. So the next day she came in and tried to write with it and I just laughed and said "You must've forgot that you broke that pen yesterday" and she got mad. Everytime I tried to be nice and joke with her she took it personally, so I just stopped talking to her. Does anyone else hate people no sense of humor as much as I do?

well im weird (no surprise) and i wasnt raised in a family that teases each other so when people tease me it bothers me but i wouldnt be upset about a pen!! but if it was serious hard core teasing i do not like that.. but i do have a good sense of humor i just havent been one to really ever tease some one else much or make fun of others so i just dont expect it back.. i do have a weird sense of humor though so i will find the weirdest things funny lol.. im not easy to offend so unless its unrelentless teasing im usually ok and dont have a problem with it.. but yeah those people that refuse to see anything as funny drive me nuts!

I love humor, and I grew up in a family where we joke at lot and tease eachother just for fun. I use humor and irony a lot in my daily life and sometimes people get insulted, because they thought I was serious. I often think it is so obvious that I am just joking, but some people still think I am serious. It is exhausting to be around people who have no sense of humor and who take things personally, and I think that a bit of humor makes things so much easier.

hi shorty,as you said,people who lack a sense of humor are kind of annoying sometimes.it seems that they are not easy to get along with.I can't bear being around who take everything too seriously either.but there's still no point for me to hate them.
