Twilight The Book and The movie...

I have read the Twilight series more then once. ( I love to read) I have to say I really love the books. I got super interested when I found out they were going to make the book in to a movie.(I really liked the movie) I know to do so you have to leave things out other wise the movie would just be to long. So for the ones out there who have read the books and seen the movie. What did you like about the movie? The Book? Was there anything in the book you wish had made it in to the movie?

I read the books, and I saw the movie. When I went to watch the movie, I kept my expectation low, knowing it's almost impossible to bring a book to life without disappointing readers.
I did enjoy the movie, even though some scenes that I think was poignant in the book, comes out funny on the screen. Definitely the meadow scene was not what I picture in my head. But then considering the limited budget they have, I guess their special effects was pretty cheesy.
Well, the next movie, New Moon, has a new director and a bigger budget. Hope they have enough money to make the wolves transformation believable onscreen.

the film was released today, and I saw it.
and I really really really enjoyed it.
I thought it was a very good adaptation of the book, the characters were well cast, and I wasn't disappointed in any way.
I think the meadow scene should have been played up a bit more, as it's so pivotal, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment. I did like how she came to the conclusion more off her own back, and seemed to struggle to deal with it a bit more than in the book.
and the girl playing Rosalie wasn't pretty enough. the actress IS pretty, but not striking. I think she needs to be much more of a knockout. taller, and more unusually attractive. but again, a minor thing.
I absolutely loved the film, and will watch it again fairly soon, I think.

I loved the movie and I feel it stayed pretty true to the book. I don't really feel like they left anything out, all the major points were covered. I hope that New Moon and Eclipse are as well made as Twilight was.

I hope they all are. I know we are going to buy the movies , but we are going to wait and see if they come out as a box set.
