What do you like better: Starting discussions or replying to them

Hey,
Which do you like better? Starting discussions or replying to them?
For me I always hated starting discussions, and only replied to other discussions. But now I have changed my mind and like starting discussions. :)
Which do you like better and why? Is it easier for you or it earns more money for you?

Half of the time I like responding to them because I do not know what to say when I want to start a discussion or the discussion I am thinking of has already been created.

Yea, that happens when you have a good discussion to start but it's already been started by someone else.

I tend to reply to discussions more than starting them. I guess I find it easier and then there is always the hidden fear that you will start a discussion that is not of interest to others. So I just browse the site and find topics that interest me and reply

Yea I know. I've started a discussion once and no one replied to it.
But it doesn't matter, I got over it quickly.

When I first joined then starting many discussions in a day. later on I started feeling comfortable by just responding to other discussions, which interests me.
Now I start discussion rarely and average less that one per day. I respond more than 10 discussions a day provided I find that much discussions worth responding.

I prefer to reply to discussions, maybe I'm not very good in bringing up conversations in real life.^^ I'm always interested in what others are trying to voice out and I like to give some of my own opinions on different topics. I do start discussions though, when something strikes my mind and I would like people to give me their views. Both are fun for me, but replying suits me better.

That's great, I also prefer replying to discussions a bit more than starting them, but I love doing both. :)
