My best moment of today

My best moment of today was soaking my aching feet into a pedicure basin. Oh the wonderful feeling of tension leaving my body after an extra hectic day. I had gone to the salon to pick up my DIL from the hairdressing salon. She was not ready so I asked if I could get a pedicure and behold - wonders of wonders - a lady was available.
Pedicures are not expensive in my country - about US$5 and I do try to get one a month as I live in open toe shoes and sandals.
As I sunk my feet into the hot aromatic water and took a sip of peppermint tea I called to my DIL and said, 'Camille, this is the best moment of today for me" Now. what was your best moment of today? Care to share?

Just $5.00 that is very cheap for a pedicure. I wish it was that cheap in our Country.

I know - this is a country of contradictions. All beauty or body things are really very cheap compared to the U.K. or the USA but food and medicines etc are very expensive and don't even talk about clothing! My daughter buys for me in the N.C during the sales. She is an avid shopper for bargains.
What is also cheap is employing someone to clean your house. This would cost about US$12 - US$14 for an eight hour day.

The best moment of my day today was just laiding back watch Classic Movies, and looking at T.V. which I don't do very often. I laid around all day in the bed untill about 3:30pm. It was very relaxing.

I know what you mean,. Occasionally, I will spend a t day alone very quietly and somewtimes just realx on the bed and watch old movies. The classics are very good - especially dor dram. Thank you for responding. Blessings

My best moment so far today was when my headache finally started to go away. I woke up with a terrible headache that I felt right behind my eyes. I just wanted to crawl back into bed, but I have orders to get made today. Busy, busy, busy. Can't let a headache slow me down.

This I can relate to. The worst thing about being sick is when you have children and cannot stay ion bed for the day. I am glad that the headache is going away. It may have been stress related as you had so much to do. The feeling that one feels when pain had ended is the best feeling in the world. Like the hour after giving birth and you lie there all happy and there IS NO PAIN!Thank you for responding my friend even though you are so busy. I appreciate it. Blessings

my best moment was when my parents gave me a good gift during my Birthday and i loved it very much and that was the happiest incident in my life and i love that situation and there was another incident also my GF came to me after a long time and thats was the sweetest memorieds of my life and i am going to meet her next month so i am feeling happy now also and i am really waiting for that day

My best moment of the day?? Oh yes, how could i ever forget!! Coming home from the very-hectic-shopping-mall after a Sunday's walk!! Ahh, the smell of home sweet home beats nothing else. Haha!!
(Oh, unless you wanna consider that i bought a transparent plastic pouch for my new mobile, because i was pretty happy that the market i went to has got some of them for sale. LOL!! )

HI, I am glad to know that you enjoyed and managed to take some time off from a hectic schedule. Well, For me the day was very usual and was kind of busy but to rate the best thing happened to me in the entire day was when I was left stranded at a place a little distance from my house, and I called my friend if he could come and pick me up. He did. We were catching up times and had a hearty laugh about nothing and everything.
I am really amazed how very small things in life could make our day and the incident which you mentioned was one of that sort. You are kind of an inspiration to me, honestly.

That day April !st in my birthday... I was shocked with the surprise on that day . My Gal friend came to my home and when i opened my eyes, i saw her smiling face. She came to me and proposed me in that morning.
i can't forget that day. really I am lucky to have that day.
