I love Steve Martin for all time. Currently, though, I'm into Chris Rock in the movies, not his TV series (which I don't like).

Yepp Shanghai Noon was great as well. As far as Jack Black...I thought he was really funny as the loser brother in Orange County.

It used to be Eddie Murphy, then Jim Carey, with the rubber face - his range of facial expressions is simply fantastic! But ever since I started watching Mr Bean with the kids, I find him even more entertaining - he's simply amazing. Cheap, disgusting and annoying, but terribly funny!

Gotta love Rowen Atkinson as Mr Bean. Check out his older British show The Black Adder. He is hilarious as well as are the other characters on the show.

I think the HogKong actor Stephen Chow is my favorite Comedian of all time.He is very famous in China, even in Asia. Jim Carrey is my favorite western comedian.I like his performance in THE MASK,and LIAR,LIAR; BRUCE ALMIGHTY.The funny part is not his words, but his expressions on his face and his motions.

my favourite movie comedian will always be jim carey....the way he distorts his face to make different expressions and his acting totally is awesome and has me laughing out loud and off the chair at times..... i go breathless too sometimes.... but he is the best.... there are many more like eddie murphy and also will smith is pretty hilarious.... the olden times heroes like lauren and hardy and charlie chaplin..... they have their own charm..... but for me ... jim carey always works !!

I can't mention a favourite because all those you mentioned are all great comedians. I never fail to laugh hysterically whether it's Will Ferrell, Steve Carell or Steve Martin. I guess I would have to say Ben Stiller is a really great comedian. Him in Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, Dodgeball and Zoolander was hilarious! My favourites are definitely when great comedians team up together like in Tropic Thunder. Absolutely the bomb!

The Mask was groundbreaking. Alot of special effects and ideas that had never been done before....especially in a comedy.

I thought Liar Liar was very funny. My favorite Adam Sandler movie is Billy Madison. Those school scenes when he had to go back and retake 1st and 2nd grade were hilarious.

my favorite comedian is Jim Carrey. actually, he's not just a good comedian, but also a very good actor and he proved himself by making a beautiful play in “The Number 23” and “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” witch are 2 psychological movies. he's a very good actor and a comedy genius!

Yes I agree Jim Carrey has shown he has more than just talent for comedies. He has taken soem roles that have shown depth for sure. Gotta respect that as most comedic actors will not take that chance at all.
