Private School or Public School

I have been wondering about this for a very long time now. What is more benifitional going to a public school or a private school for highschool. I have been going to a private school since kindergarden. Private schools mark harder than public schools. Do Universities look at the school and consider those grades or do they just don't care and pick the student who has higher grades regardless of what type of school they go to?

if i had kids i would send them to a private school.. coz.. i think the teachings is better. and kids wear uniform... which makes them feel more like they are going to school.. public schools have no uniforms.. and wen kids hang ard outside it looks sooo.... rowdy..

It depends where are you from. In my hometown, the public school provide good education! Most of the time, the students will go to better universities there!

it is hard to categorize schools by private or public if one is interested to look at how good a school is. there are many factors that can define a good school aside from being public or private. however, universities do not look at the kind of schools applicants attended, but they look at the entrance test results and consider the applicants from them. it is not whether one is from a public or private school.

I once heard that university count a B as an A if you came from a private school. The school I attend at the moment had a entrance exam but does not at the moment. Will it count for an entry exam when I apply for a university even though the school does not have one anymore?
