Call me anthropormorphic if you must but I have a very spoilt girl bunny. She grumbles way too much, and she gives us grief by acting as if the world has been cruel to her over the most minor of incidents. The boy bunny will attest to this as he gets the most scoldings from her and if that isn't enough, she will get my mom to give him a earful too if she thinks he deserves more scoldings.
Yesterday we brought both bunnies to the doctor for their blood tests. Blood was drawn from her ear and I guess that isn't fun for her. On the way home she was struggling and wriggling, refusing to sit still in the car. When that did not send the message across, she persists today by putting on her most suffering demeanor. When that didn't work too, she starts scratching her ear and shaking her head repeatedly. My mom was all worked up, thinking she got lices in her ear and set about cleaning her ears thoroughly. That, apparently, wasn't the response bunny princess is after so she got my mom to sit down and scratch the back of her ear till her skin got all red. Finally my mom went "Is that where the doctor draw blood from? Did it hurt? You poor baby..." Finally!
You should see the look of satisfaction on her face.

I had a bunny that used to have a fit when everyone was busy and noone would pet her. She'd find the nearest lap and hop up into it (no matter what you were doing!) and then start digging at your legs. I can't count the number of newspapers she shredded while Mom was trying to read them! I had a pair of jeans that she actually wore out the fabric on the front of one of the thighs because she did this so often. And people think rabbits are boring...
