That's true.But what I want to say is,I think the purpose of many people seeking a higher education is a high-paid job.Knowledge is wealth indeed.

i don't have the figures and statistics on those taking higher education. what i know is that higher education correlates with higher income and prestige. for promotion and higher paid positions, aspirants and applicants are usually required to have a higher education degree which means that having higher education is a way to receive high income. it is true and i agree with you that knowledge is wealth especially in our times of information and strategic planning for business and other undertakings.
