One thing I can't understand: What is the source of income for mylot owners?

Each discussion here is payed according to the quality of the discussion. But one thing I can't understand is how mylot owners get money to pay everyone? Even the site doesn't have advertisements. Only one bar of advertisement on top of every page. But this advertisement can't give so much of income to the site; I think. Then what is the source of revenue of this site? From where does its owners get money to pay us?
