Problem with my modem

I connect to the internet via cable and I use a WebStar modem provided by the cable company. Lately I have been having the following problem: I can connect without any problems but after about ten minutes it stalls and I have to reset the modem, this happens about every ten minutes, it is a real problem for me, as I usually surf traffic exchanges or play games and I need the connection to be active. Has anyone had this type of problems or knows a solution to this problem?
