Do You Wear An Underwire Bra?

United States

I have HUGE breasts. I don't care much for them because they can really be hard on your back, etc. If you have them then you know what I'm talking about. I have to wear an underwire bra because all other bras just can't stand up to them. Do you have to wear an underwire bra or do you just prefer to wear an underwire?

I'm not exactly large in this sense [or any sense for that matter] so that has never been an issue for me. I think I'm just about the right size but I'm still very young. Anyway, I prefer wire because I just find it more comfortable. The ones with nothing in them seem to just slide around kind of funny. It just doesn't seem to ever feel like it's in the right place.

Sometimes i do but it depends on the brand they're usually uncomfortable. Although just about any bra is uncomfortable.

Yes, they can be very uncomfortable. I would prefer to go without a bra! But guess that wouldn't be a good thing having those big things flopping up and down, they could put out one of my eyes.

I hate underwire bras. I should wear them, but I don't. The wire always jabs into my side and annoys me to no end. I have a few bras that were bugging me so bad I cut the underwire out of them.

Oh yes, I've had many bras that jabbed me in the side too. It really does hurt.

I usually wear an underwire bra because they lift up the fallen. I know that huge ts mammary glands are a pain in the back. My daughter and granddaughter have told me so. A few years ago, a friend of mine had a reduction. Her insurance paid for it because her doctor certified that it was medically necessary. She was a small person with these huge mammary glands. She was actually getting stooped because of the weight.

I also wear underwire... the girls are too big to be constrained by anything else... I am still having difficulties finding a sports bra that will contain them when I play softball! And ACTUALLY, the only bra I have found that is underwire AND supporting (to make me look perky) is made by Queen Latifa I think... I found it at Wal-Mart and now I can't find them anymore... back to square 1 in finding one that fits and supports and is relatively comfy LOLOL... man, I just need a shrinkage!

I wear underwire bra when I go out, to me, it looks nicer. But when I am at home, I usually wear a wireless one, as it's more comfortable wearing the wireless bra.

I don't wear an underwire bra. They're so uncomfortable and the wires poke me all day. I'm able to get buy with wearing a bra that doesn't have underwire. I know that it doesn't support my chest as well as it could but I think underwire is more uncomfortable and just isn't worth men staring at my chest all day.

I tried wearing an underwire, but they are so uncomfortable. Although, I don't really need one anyway.

I prefer an underwire gives them that extra lift that they wouldn't have without them. Though I will say they do take a while to get used to especially if you have one that doesn't fit well & the wire is digging in. Though to extend the life of them you can take the wire out if they break & they still do the job just not as ummm... lifting ;)

I wear an underwire bra but I am not blessed with much really, but I think they give what I do have a bit of a lift and makes them look slightly bigger.

I wear an underwire bra because mine are so small (34B) that only an underwire bra will make them appear to stand up some. If you don't want all of your boobs, i'll be happy to take some of yours =)
