What is the most bizarre call you have had?

I occasionally get unintentional calls on my mobile from 'the pocket', as it were. They are very often late at night (when, I suppose, the callers are out clubbing and I am trying to sleep). I suspect that I am more prone to this because my name begins with 'A' and so I am at the top of many people's Contacts lists.
Usually, when answering these calls, I get a random 'party' babble and nobody responding to my "Hello? ... HELLO?? ...".
I know what has happened, of course: someone has forgotten to turn their phone off and has slipped it in their back pocket. The intimate interaction between their (possibly very caressable ) backside and the environment has caused certain buttons to be pressed and my number to be dialled! In the UK, we don't need to be concerned about 'received calls' -- they cost us nothing -- elsewhere, of course, this kind of scenario could be an expensive problem!
When I receive such involuntary calls, I have tried shouting, I have tried whistling and I have even tried swearing loudly. If the call is to my mobile, it is quite simple to cancel and hang up. If it is to my landline, it seems to be not so easy to cancel (I don't know why). I really am more worried for the caller than for me. It's their bill that will go through the roof!
Have you had calls like this (from a back pocket)? How do you deal with them?

LOL! That's really funny! Received calls are free in India too. :) I got such a call only once...and I was screeching "HELLLLLLLLLLOOOOOO" or rather bellowing it at the top of my voice, and this guy who called me was calmly gossiping away with his colleague. He did not even know that his mobile had called me. Really funny!!
Cheers and happy mylotting

I have received late night calls on my cell phone. Sometimes, when the caller is intoxicated, it may be difficult to convince that person that the one being called does not reside at this address. My husband came up with a solution that somehow stopped one man from calling back on our land line. The man was asking for someone named Cindy. My husband answered, "I'm sorry, but she got up and left about 5 minutes ago." When Cindy was found, she must have had a hard time explaining that one.
The greatest problem that I've had has been with company trying to sell me an extended warranty for my car. First they called on our land line. Somehow, they got my cell phone number and started calling on it. This is an automated call. It didn't matter whether I pushed 3 to be taken off their prospect list or just hung up, they'd just call back. I even went so far as to change from Sprint to AT&T and change my phone number, but within a couple of weeks I was receiving the same call on my new phone. It is surprising how many "final notices" I received. I can't report the calls to the "do not call registry" because I did talk to someone at the company once to determine the cost opf the extended warranty.

When I receive unintentional phone call, I just hang up. No need to be worried. I experienced it countless of times. Strangely, my initial is not 'A', it is 'H'.
Funny, right?
