It takes a lot of effort to earn money at any writing site, and you need to write many articles. I am not in the USA so I have never joined AC. In the past few months I have earned around $500 at Helium and around 50 cents at Triond. I have not submitted much to Triond and have not promoted my articles, so I'm not complaining. My Helium articles are now earning around 50 cents a day in revenue share. I get paid every month by Helium, because I sell some of my articles to publishers in the Marketplace. I also qualify for upfront payments for each new article I write at Helium. Before you can earn much at Helium you need to rate articles and gain a star. You need writing stars to receive upfront payments. It is not an easy way to make money. You yould not join Helium unless you are willing to participate in the rating system and you have genuine enthusiasm for writing. It is a great site for learning to improve your writing skills, if you are serious about geting into freelance writing.

I am a member of all three sites and earn more on Helium. They have writing contests and the marketplace, and star bonuses, and of course view revenue. I earn about 3 times more in one week on Helium than on Associated Content. It's also more fun to write there because of the contests and the fact that you can choose from existing titles. Associated content does have calls, but you don't earn quite as much. You do earn on view revenue, but helium seems to pay out more. The one good aspect of AC is the upfront - which non-US residents aren't allowed to ask for. Triond only has view revenue.

Dear Friend Great I think you being the member of all three , you are the best person too to respond to my discussion . According to you helium is best ,I hope helium will not have any restriction for non US members like me for not paying for certain activities like asoociated content does . If you are reading it could you please tell also that ,am I right in thinking that I should submit display only articles on assoicated content so that I can post it elsewhere like on helium ,since associated content allow this and I am non resident US person ,but Will helium except articles I had published as display only on associated content ???? You have given wonderful information though !!!! Thanks for your response and such a nice information...! Happy Mylotting Take Care Ganesh

I think associated content is the best writing website their is but that is my opinion and I can write about anything and get paid for it. I have been writing for them for about 3 years now. I also write for helium but I didnt care too much for them.

I can respond to this discussion because I write for the three sites. Paid write is correct when she says that Helium would earn you more because there are several ways to earn there. The marketplace with payments ranging from $9 t0 $125 depending on the topic. Writing contests could also earn you $ 60 -first prize, 2nd - $40 and rd prize - $30. I have already won twice aside from my page views which earn daily and it is starting to perk up as I have more than a hundred articles there now. I wrote for the marketplace this week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed, likewise with the Christmas writing contests. If I earn here I will be having a total of more or less $ 300 for more than 3 months at helium. As for triond I have at least 20 articles and 20 pictures posted there and I'm earning $ 1.50 more or less monthly! I plan to add more pictures and write a few articles. For AC, I have increased my articles to 26 some I got from my helium articles . The last time I visited, my earnings was $ 1.08 . Not so much because I'm from the Philippines and am not entitled to upfront payments. Unlike in helium that this would not matter. Whatever site you would decide to join, you should be dedicated. Good luck and cheers.

I haven't done much in Associated Content and never heard of Triond, but let me tell you Helium is a scam. I searched it up and no one ever got payed, not even a single payment proof. I wrote quality articles which I think had to be atleast 500 words, and only got 5 measly cents! Even a couple of not so good quality posts on mylot would make you earn more! And the minimum payout is $25. So I wrote 11 QUALITY articles and got 5c. So 5c for 11 quality reviews and payout $25? I wouldn't even bother anymore.

I don't know what this person is talking about. Helium is not a scam - People DO get paid. I have been paid before and I know people who've been paid before. I'd show you my payment proof but I'm too lazy.

Dear Friend I am very sorry to hear what has happened to you in Helium , it really hurts our article we created with lot of efforts , are not payed . In that case can we post our same article on all three websites , so that if one is not paying maybe others pay for the same article ., I dont know how much is this possible as per you . Posting article as " display only" would help us to have republish rights to our article . What do you think ? Thanks for your response and such a nice information...! I am on helium and Triond but I never write in Triond, it's more for my photo-posting. I heard the comparison between the three and usually people like Associated Content better. Helium was fun before but they changed the rules and make things too complicated for me and I hardly spend time there.

Hello my friend Ganesh44 Ji, Well, my hubbyhad some friends, who regularly used to earn quite a lot oney on Associated content, but they were all US born citizens. Try Cio.com, it pays through PayPal and one has to write review, my hubby does that way now-a-days. But he has to still make some money. ay God bless You and have a great time.

I am member of all three sites. I have written to helium and associated content. To me helium is better as far as earning concern. They have recently started revenue sharing and that helps a lot to those members, who has at least one rating star.

I'm partial to www.helium.com. None of them are really good enough to earn a living, but are okay for pocket cash. In helium, head straight for the marketplace. Research and write on all the available titles and you should make a few sales each week. In the meantime, write/rate articles on the regular helium channels because higher writing/rating scores will give you access to Premium Marketplace titles. Premium titles pay $80-$120 instead of the usual $20-$40. Good luck!
