The other day my daughter brought home a bookmark from school that she made for me. I uploaded a picture of it. One side says "I Love You" and the other side says, "Mom Rocks!". I love it when she makes me these little gifts, the mean so much to a mother. Have your children made anything special for you lately?

yes, i have two children in school and they both attend sunday school and a yoouth group, a week never passes when the don't bring something home for either myself, my wife or thier biological mother.. my 9 year old daugter like to just dissappear into her room and write little stories for us, the are sooo cute. any little gift warms the heart and puts a smle on my face in these otherwise low times

My first daughter paints little things and draws and stickers things for her mommy, but lately we've been experimenting with glue and shapes cut out of construction paper. hehe she's only 2 so we make things together but she says they are for me ;)

It really is lovely when the children make us these things. That book mark is really beautiful and really is something that will be useful to you also.
My daughter made me a big clay owl last week and it holds a big red candle. I have it sitting on the centre of my dinning table and it will be perfect for Christmas.
I have kept everything my children have made for me over the years. It will be nice to show them all to them when they are adults, as it will bring back memories and show how much we really treasure their lovely gifts.

Yes, children often give us some suprise in their growing period.
A sudden smile, greeting, standing, runnig, making gift and so on.
I remember I'm very very glad when I heard my son called me "mom" first time.
Now he is 2 years old and can talk with me simply I hope he'll grow up soon and I'm waiting for a gift like your daughter's.
Happy with your child.
