Good income teen job

Im 16 years old and i have been thinking about getting a job for a while. Im in Canada B.C. and im very interested in technology.
Places i have tried are futureshop and bestbuy. I got a responce from there but the only problem i have had with them is they want me during weedays. I want a job for weekends only because i am in grade 11 and the workload during the weak is hard due to the fact that im in a private school.
has anyone had any success with finding a job around my age? if so what job and what was your income and hours/days you worked.

There aren't many jobs that will only hire you for the weekends. It's really rare to find. Jobs want you to be available to them, so maybe you should find a job where you could do homework while working like being a receptionist or work in an office. When I was a senior in high school I worked at a drycleaners and made $7.35 and worked about 20 hours a week. I had a lot of downtime to do homework when people weren't coming in to drop clothes off. Now I'm in college and am a receptionist and make $11 and hour and work 30 hours a week every week. It gets really slow here too when no one is calling and I can bring my laptop to do homework and surf the internet since wireless internet is available to me.

that is really great dude.congratulations because you have got such a nice job. I don't think many people can get this job at your age. You have a great potential in you,carry on your good work. Once again, congratulations to you.
