I'm a big Science Fiction fan and this issue has been addressed by many authors. In most cases the societies that have accomplished such a discovery have also instituted some form of population control such allowing new births only at the rate of deaths; there would still be deaths from accidents or crime or punishment. Other methods were expansion into space which would also require the discovery of space travel to other planets or the building of space habitats or terraforming other planets like Mars or a cominbination of some or all of these. Some authors included that some people would eventually tire of life and choose to end it or give up a corperal existence and live as an entity in a computer. Some authors have also used the device to limit it by making the process so expensive that only a few could afford it. For me I would not like to stop aging but to be made about 30 years younger, but then I can be a bit selfish and have unrealistic wishes at times.

Birth, grow, mature, aging and die are natural rules for all things include human. In this course those good are kept and those bad are lost so we have an evolution. I think human should not waste time in opposing natural rules or we'll pay for our unwidsom someday. In addition, stopping aging does not mean having health. How about birth? and how about die? They are all beautiful.
