Who do you think gets paid more : men or women

According to the United States Census Bureau, on average women make about 76 cents to the dollar that men make in the U.S.A. So yes, there is a wage gap between men and women with men earning more for the same work. The primary reason that women are paid less is that for centuries, most of the world, including the U.S.A. has operated under a system of patriarchy with men in charge and women in subservient, domestic roles. Although these ideas have changed a great deal, there is still a perception that men are better workers, are more fit for employment outside the home, and should be paid more because they are providing for their families. There is also a perception that women are not as dedicated to their work and are more likely to leave it due to pregnancy or raising their families. So in other words, many companies pay women less because they think that women are less committed to their careers. These are just a couple of reasons why women make less money than men in the United States. I'm sure that the same reasons probably apply in other countries as well.

I don't think a woman can do exactly the same things as man do.there are lots of job that woman can't do. so I don't think they are paid equally in some fields. in my opinion, man gets paid more.lol happy mylotting.

It is a given that primarily men make more money than women for the same job. It certainly is not fair, but it is a fact. I think it goes back to the days when men were the sole bread winners. Women aren't recognized for being single moms. What you get paid should be based strickly on the job you do.
