Leave the shoes on? Or off?

I hate wearing shoes indoors, in fact all the family does, we all have our slippers which we change into as soon as we walk in, that's the first thing we do when we come home, off go the shoes and straight into our slippers. In the summer I go around in bare feet.

It's a house rule for me, as soon as I walk into my house, shoes off, slippers on. I've had to do that pretty much my whole life, and i love it! Slippers are much more comfy than shoes

I don't take my shoes off right when I get through the door. Although, I don't keep them on the entire time. I always end up taking my shoes off before the time is up.

i take my shoes off when i go inside my house and drop them at the shoe corner then change into my house slippers :) I think this should be a common practice for all since our shoes carry so much dirt and bacteria. We wouldn't want those germs in our bedroom or kitchen, right? :) I'm not sure if it's an Asian thing... I'm also Asian myself :)

I always have to have my shoes off at home, or at friends or families house. I just feel odd with my shoes on. I only keep them on if its some place I don't like, and I want to leave fast.
