Medicinal uses of Honey!

I think every home should have a honey bottle.Because honey is known to have many medicinal uses.First of all,honey improves digestion.Remember,honey is not prescribed for babies as their digestive system are very tender.Also honey plays as a bias.You can maintain your body temperature by taking honey.And honey can be directly applied on wounds to heal better.Any more uses?Please share!

honey contains
1.sugars like fructose, glucose, sucrose, maltose, lactose and other disaccharides and trisaccharides.
2. Proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids.
3. volatile aromatic substances
4. ashes and water.

If you can use it on injuries or an eye problem what do you do just rub it. I mean my son has chronic eye problems. Could i just rub it around his eye?
