Many thanks for your wishes!! I also do not belong to that religion, however, I believe that we are living in a cosmoplitan age and cities and everybody, irrespective of his/her religion celebrates every festival, be it Diwali, Eid or Christmas. It is great fun to enjoy cakes and other goodies on the festival of Christmas. One of my colleagues is Christain, she makes it a point to bring delicious cake on this occasion and we all relish it in the office.

Hi Deepak,
That means you are waiting for the cake.
We have to celebrate all the festivals and I think more or less all of us are doing the same either because of friends or because of neighbours. India is the only country you can find unity in diversity.
Enjoy your celebrations, have a pleasant time.

Christmas has always been a nostalgia to me.The thought of cool weather, the Christmas carol songs ,the santa claus ,Xmas tree ,the decorations ,the star everything still lingers on in my mind still afresh as if during my chidhood days.I stil remember those star studded houses along the street.Christmas is always a refreshing thought for me.When I was a child my cousin brothers too join me in making the crib and decorating the house.I stll remember how afraid I was to give a shake hand to the Santa who came to my home.Christmas is a season of joy happiness sharing etc.During the Christmas season there will be deluge of christmas cards and cakes.Everyone who visits us wil have a cake in his hands. We cannot eat up all those cakes so we give them off as gifts to those whom we visit.I don't know how to express my joy in its fulness regarding christmas. When I was in the boarding I longed for the Christmas holidas so that I could join my cousins to celebrate X'mas. So that's all about my celebrations. What about yours.

For us Christmas starts right from the first week of December with carols as background, the house is spruced up and around the middle of the month preparations are made to make sweets at home, shopping around the third week and by the time the day arrives our house is decorated with shimmering lights, the xmas tree put up and the volume of carols slightly increased. We have organised parties for orphans since the last 4 years, two are our own place and the rest in their respective schools. Wrapping gifts for them preparing games, organising the Santa, food, et al a tiring but worth the effort. It is at one of these gettogethers we decided to sponsor one child. She was 13 then. We brought her home and sent her to school, who also helped us around. We got her married and now she the mother one one boy and is expecting her second. Merry Christmas to all who will be reading this response.

Yes, it is a tradition. Christmas is celebrated from midnight of December 24th. Prior to that, there are people singing carols on each houses, others are busy preparing for noche buena. Others will attend the Christmas mass and others are starting to have a party. I am going home for this Holiday season - Christmas and New Year. I will be celebrating it with my family. Surely, there will be good food and exchange gifts.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!

I'm going to celebrate it with my family, every christmas we celebrate it together. There's nothing compares celebrating it with your family. Seeing your brothers and sisters with their families, and cuddling you baby nieces and nephews, laughing, talking and sharing everything about life, work, parenting, married life and etc., and you can see there's a lot of love in each and everyone. You can really feel the essence of Christmas season.

Happy Christmas to you also, Sreekala . We do celebrate Christmas and we normally have family dinner and exchanging gifts or opening gifts on Christmas eve. Same in New years eve, except for the gifts, lol. We do visit our friends after or before Christmas to greet them and have dinner or lunch with them. Thanks.

My Christmas celebration is centered on the Birth Of Jesus Christ. I do celebrate with my family and friends. We gather together, enjoy each others company, have a great meal, exchange gifts and read the Christmas Story from the Bible. I always spend some time during the Christmas season reflecting back on the year past and how wonderfully God has worked in my life.

Hi Sreekala
I celebrate both Christmas and Diwali at home. Very often for Christmas I call my inlaws over to spend the day since they are Hindus and do not celebrate Christmas. I also make sweets and distribute sweets to all my non-christian friends. During the Christmas week I make time and spend a day with the children in the orphanage.

I am a Christian so I celebrate Christmas with Jesus as the main reason. God exemplified the highest form of giving when He gave His son Jesus to die for the sin of mankind. It is therefore the birth of Jesus that signify the start of the greatest sacrifice He was tasked to do. Therefore without Jesus having took the form of man through His earthly birth, salvation of mankind will not be ever possible. So Christmas, the celebration of His earthly birth is the most important time of the year for me. It is in the light of this thought that I do not celebrate Christmas for other reason. I celebrate Christmas because I rejoice in the birth of my Savior Jesus Christ.
My celebration would include prayer of thanksgiving of the whole family before we eat our Noche Buena and gift giving to exemplify the act of giving which God himself has first done for us. Before Christmas time, of course there are so many parties to attend to, the games, the parties, the dinners and everything. Christmas involves a lot of joyful celebration but I make it a point not to forget the real reason why we have to do all these activities and fun.

My parents were created far from their parents so none of them had any kind of celebration. And they did the same to me and my brothers and sister. Nowadays i simply get a pizza and watch a movie on christmas and sometimes do the same also in new year´s eve.

Even though I am not a Cristian I do participate in the celebration. Right now we have X-mas celebration at our office and we all are participating in it. I got 10 days of office closure at that time and planning to enjoy the leaves with my family , Planning to cut the cake and want to do some outing.

on Christmas Eve, we get together with my Mom's side of the family. We all bring an appetizer to share. While eating and conversing, we enjoy the food along with adult beverages. Later, we open gifts. Then we have dessert and Bailey's. We then go home to rest up for Christmas Day. On Christmas Day, my Mom makes a big breakfast, which is usually Eggs Benedict (which I LOVE). For dinner/supper, we go to my Grandpa's house on my Dad's side to socialize and eat beef tenderloin with sides. We don't have a gift exchange, but we enjoy the company and laughter of one another.
