No matter how bad a person is or seems to be i don't think it is right to throw shoes or anything at him. We should find a calmer and more civilised way to deal with our anger/frustration.

i've seen that in the news a minute ago.. i was laughing to it and just thought that bush is so good not to catch by that one.. but it is such an insult not for just the president but to other people also.. i would throw also my shoes off if somebody would do that to me!

I don't it is right to throw shoes at the President under any circumstances, but I can understand why it happened. In Iraq that the throwing of the shoes is intended to be an insult and the guy who did it was an Iraqi reporter who was kidnapped by the shiite(sp) militia and later released. I don't know what he endured while in captivity but at the very least he had to fear for his life and knowing President Bush was ultimately responsible for the war he took the opportunity to let him know how he felt.
