Do you dislike hospitals?

My two brothers do not like hospitals. Their dislike of them extends to the point that they will not visit anyone in the hospital. It took alot of courage on both their parts to visit our parents when they were in the hospital.
Their dislike mainly was from the 'smells' in the hospital. I don't believe that they experienced anything bad happening in a hospital. Just the 'mediciney' odors.
Do you dislike hospitals? Do you have family members that dislike hospitals? How to you deal with this?

Thanks for your response, daliaj. I didn't like injections either until I became a paramedic in the USNavy. One of the first injections I gave was to myself! We all had to learn how to give ourselves an antidote incase of chemical warfare. After that, I didn't mind injections so much.
Many people make it a point to go visit family and friends who are in a hospital, just my brothers avoid it at all costs.
And, Jakker, you're right, not looking at the needle is best when getting blood drawn for a blood test. Doesn't hurt as much. Thanks for your repsonse.
