New Year is fast approaching. Now i want to ask, which do you enjoy most, the sometimes boring fireworks or the dangerous firecrackers? I quit lighting firecrackers when i almost burned my hand from lighting gunpowder with a cigarette. Would you rather light a firecracker or stand in one corner and watch fireworks?

Haha, Well i guess that's the benefit of living near the fireworks capital huh? Just be careful when you're on the rooftop because you might be an easy target for stray bullets especially during New Year's Eve. Nothing will ricochet the bullet away from your direction.

that must have hurt burning your hand. LOL silly.
my dad had one of those ball ones go the wrong way and it landed in his hand. Ouch. His burnt hand smelled like chicken. Hahaha

I prefer to have my own fireworks, just for the mere factor that I am in the action instead of sitting on the baseline waiting for the next one to show up. Also, I don't know if you would agree with this or not, but I see city fireworks as a waste of taxpayers money. I see that as just another reason why education here is so horrible.

I enjoy watching a professionally performed fireworks show but it annoys me when amateurs start shooting off fireworks in the neighborhood. Every year there are stories in the newspaper about kids getting hurt because they were using fireworks incorrectly or because the fireworks were faulty. I really believe that they should leave this dangerous activity to the professionals.

We have lots of amateurs here! lol! Some even position their fireworks horizontally meaning it will either his a wall or a person. Either, it's still dangerous. It might cause fire and injury. Professionals are the best complete with their gadgets and cool choreography.

I love to watch fireworks. There's a nice display in downtown Spokane. But the traffic is so bad, I haven't been in a while. I recently moved to an apartment and I live on the 4th floor. I can see the display now from my balcony! So no more traffic worries and I can enjoy the fireworks from home!
Hope your new year is spectacular!
