I wish I had all the money back that I spent on anything that I didn't ever use. If I only had it now I would save the money!
Way too many dang things that ended up getting yard saled or given away that were never, ever used!

Well, I think you could say that we got your snow over here! We had the snow storm last night and the kids are home this morning. It's sort of a rain/snow mix, although it has accumulated about 6 inches. The plows haven't gone through yet and driving is probably a bit risky today. When it's just snow, it's not so bad. But with the rain mix, it can get slick!
So we slept in today and now we're just blobbing around.
While your kids are on break, are you off at all from work?

This reminds me of the dumbest thing I've done in my life! I spent it on something that was not really useful to us. I should have used for daughter's education or spending it for household furnitures. *sigh* I just really wish I haven't done thing at all.

We went to Harrah's one time and spent almost $800.00, which we really couldn't afford.. My husband's mother remarked to him one day, "boy, I bet you wish you had that money back now" and he told her, "I sure do, I would do it again".. You only live once but we sure didn't expect this kind of turn to our economy, if we had of known, I am sure there a hundreds of things we would not have spent money on.. Have a wonderful day..

Hi RockerJ, I wish I had all the money back that I spent on my friend. If I only had it now I would be get that money to spend it on my medical review of my accident, and I would not be poor now and no money to shop for christmas and new year is coming. This year 2008 is a poor year for me, at start I was accident and need to stay at home and no work for a month, and then I can start my working, but my boss say you no need come to work, then I stay at home again. At last, I apply another job from another company, now I start my working on last week.

I wish I had all the money back that I spent on all those snacks and fast food.
If I only had it now I would be able to get that Laptop I wanted and would have been much slimmer and be able to have a 35 inch waistline. Then I would not have to fight that borderline diabetes that I have now. There is better things I could do with my money.

Ah geez, there's so much! Luckily I've never spent a whole ton of money on anything useless. Mostly it's fast food that I end up feeling guilty about later. Not the fact that I ate the fast food, but what a waste of money it is. Just last week I spent $30 on Pizza Hut, and the amount of food we got was not enough for all of us, and we even had coupons. I was astonished how expensive it was. After I got it home I said we should have gone to a different pizza place instead. Everywhere else is cheaper, and tastes better too!
Then a couple weeks ago I bought a pair of shoes for my oldest. I got them home and realized they were the wrong size... they were women's 7.5 instead of mens. Oopsy. Well I couldn't return them because the store has a no return policy. So the sneakers are still sitting here, nobody in the house can fit into them. I tried to give them away on Freecycle but no one wanted them. Looks like I'll have to donate them to the Rescue Mission or something.
Oh, then there was the time I spent $15 on a suit for my 6 year old. He was going to be the Joker for Halloween, so I bought this suit for him to wear, I checked it over, it was nice, and size 6. Well I get it home and find out it's a woman's size 6. Then I was trying to dye it purple, figuring I'd use it regardless, but I needed it purple. Yeah... that so didn't work. I bleached the color out of it and tried to dye it but the fabric wouldn't take to the dye. So now I have this woman's size 6 suit that is orange in some spots, yellow in some spots, and white in some spots because of the way I bleached it. That's still sitting in a bag somewhere, not sure what I plan on doing with that.
Oh, then there was the time my toddler needed a new crib mattress. I asked for one on Freecycle but didn't get one, then searched at all the thrift shops. New mattresses for a crib or toddler bed are like $50, and I hate to spend that much money when he's only going to use it for a short while now, because he's in a toddler bed. So I scoured the internet for a cheaper mattress. I found one for $20, then had to pay $10 in shipping charges. I get it, and it's for a porta crib, which is the size of a playpen!! I returned it to the store, but was not refunded my shipping fees. Don't you know a week later I found a mattress for free on Freecycle.

Oh dear, I am so boring. I've always led quite a frugal life to save for the children's education and clothes. Even rare vacations were made on a shoe string. I've never indulged in lots of clothes of expensive hobbies or anything like that. I just cannot think of anything that I regereted spending money on. told you I was boring. Blessings

I wish I had that $200 I spent on my Coach purse and wallet. If I had it now, I would pay a big payment on my credit card that I used to purchase tickets for my last trip to Brazil.
