I have only 7 star ranking:-(

I have only 7 star ranking. I wanted it to be 9 because I love the red color. Its my favourite colour. That's why I said earlier that I don't want a star rating because I knew that I cna't get 9 star to get a red color in my profile. You know my next favourite color... guess.. You are right, the dark blue!! LOL

Hello sanuanu! You can have the rating that you want. In the mean time, just enjoy what you are doing and stay active. The first ranking that I have is yellow which is 8. Suddenly, it went into 9 and then when I reached my 500 posts, I got shocked because it's 10 or dark blue already. So be patient, don't think about the ranking. As long you're enjoying it here.

I have now 9 star and I think I should make you as my teacher and I can walk on your footsteps. I have 9 now and I am working hard to get to 10 once I make 500 under my name.

My star seems to have bounced around a bit since I joined mylot and has been several different colors. I gather that the stars have something to do with the number of best responses you have in relationship to the total number of responses you have and possibly the number of discussions that you initiated. I have initiated very few discussions so I'm guessing that my star rating is based on my best responses. But I haven't worried too much about it. I have just enjoyed being here. I enjoy the rather open discussions.

I think you will get a 10 eventually , but I really don't know how the ratings work. I'm not sure anyone really knows, but then I've never really read the rules very closely. Mostly I just try to have interesting discussions and try to be polite and as informative as possible. And sometimes I get some really good ides about stuff. Always looking for good ideas about how to reuse thing, to do something and how to see things in a different way. I have found mylot as better place for social networking than and friendly discussion than any of the other social web sites I have tried. So I try not to worry to much about my rating, or about getting paid for that matter, although that is what drew me here in the first place. Good Luck getting your 10 star. Thank you for your time and response. There are several things which derive star ranking according to you. That means a true mylotian can get a 10 star rating. It is disappointing me.

I have a yellow star for the number 8. It was a 9 but then I was away from MyLot for a bit so I am building it back up agani. Just keep habving fun and commenting, the star will rise.

That is disappointing. It means if I get away from mylot for a small period of time then I might get my star dropped to 6. Oh, that's not cool at all!!

Thats great you have high dreams for 9 star. Red is also my fave color but i am content with my star as i know i will get it someday if i stayed longer.
