I'm really happy that I have a good boss, I really like him to be my boss.
He is a family man, he loves his wife and kids very much, hence he understands that we need to go home early, spending time with our families. It's good not to work with a workaholic boss.
Also, he's having good relationship with his staffs, he's quite playful sometimes, but he's serious at work, which is good, so that he can bring in more projects, and we can earn more. He always cares about us.
How about you? Do you have a good boss?

Hello kaka135! How are you doing? I think my supervisor is nice, but demanding. He is nice because he cares for me as a worker and as a person. He seems to be interested in our personal lives. He gives us monthly goals & he can be demanding about meeting those goals. However, I think bosses are supposed to be like that. I donĀ“t like having a boss that is only demanding. I like a well rounded boss, not just demanding.
I don't expect my boss to be my friend, but I think bosses can see you as a person. He's not a workaholic, but I like him being my boss. Have a nice day.

Hi Pablo, I'm doing fine here, enjoying my holiday until next year.
Yeah, I think what important is that "He treats you as a person", then only you'll feel you are respected. Although we are at different levels, it doesn't mean the boss shouldn't respect the staffs as human beings.
Glad to hear that you have a good boss too! ^_^
Merry Christmas to you!

Hey kaka135 You are aware that five fingers of your hand are not equal then how can you expect that. But some how we have to manage and perform our duties in work place. I think Office goers/workers are not complacent with the particular topic. I think there is rare person who holds the managerial capacity and behave properly with his/her under staff or subordinate. I do not know about other countries system but in our country scenario is totally reverse. Here boss is having administrative function and if they are not in right position they will not be in a position to control the workforce as result of which they are forced to maintain discipline and other admn. functions . Here workforces are very peculiar and they are not conscious about their duties, rights, responsibilities. So relation in between workforce and boss is not cordial. In rare exception there are few organization where relationship in between subordinate and boss is very cordial. You can not get aboss according to your choice. I am also not fully happy with the boss but somehow I am managing and maintaining cordial relation.

Not everyone is capable to become the manager, some are just promoted to be because he has been working for the longest in the company, he may be good in technical skills, but not good in management at all.
But, I think I'm really lucky to have a good boss, also I believe we have a choice on our boss, coz we can choose whether we want to stay or leave.

I do not like my boss, as he is not smart, but he always wants us to do some stupid work. He always does not really care about the staffs' benefits, he cares about himself more, he just doesn't want to get in any troubles, but he doesn't protect his staffs.

I am retired, but I did have quite some good bosses, and just so so bosses, too. From the good bosses, I got enriched in various aspect, and my work enthusiasm came up likewise, which lubricate the community you work in and smooth the work, as well.
For those in their process of growing up, complaints are useless. In stead, you had better get him well informed about the backgrounds and on-goings, and offer alternative solutions with analytical comments. Everyone is making progress as long as the enterprise culture is positive.
Of course, it is easier said than done. Community harmany is more important than payment.

Yeah, you need to know whom you are working with, then how you should adjust your working style with him or her. I totally agree that community harmony is more important than just getting paid, otherwise I will not feel happy staying and working there. ^_^
Thank you for sharing!

That is so great that you have such a good and understanding boss. I think having children will make a person change a lot. Perhaps this is why sometimes my boss is very unreasonable since he doesn't have any children. He doesn't know how to enjoy the life. He only works for money. In fact he is quite rich, but perhaps it is not enough yet. I don't really like my boss because of his hot temper and unfair treatment.

I don't get along so well with my boss, we just have diffent views and ideas on things and sometimes butt head with each other. I usualy only see him once a week so it is not that bad but he dose like to tell me how to run my department which I hate, and it upsets him when I don't always listen to what he says.

Hi kaka, regretfully, I don't have a good boss. He is quick temepered and can shout a lot and often scares me. I put up with his behaviour because I need a job and at my age I do not have any othe choice. I am glad to be employed - especially with the recession coming to my country. Lay offs have already started. I just try to deal with it the best way that I can. he is not here all the time but when he is here I am so nervous as I do not know how he will react in the next five minutes. Blessings

Thanks for your response.
It's scary to have a boss who is bad temper and like to shout. I've never had a boss like that, and I don't think I can take it.
Yeah, sometimes it's good to just have a job, no matter the boss is good or not, but hopefully you will be alright working for him.

You really lucky. I don't have a good boss, my boss not care about us. He just care his carrier, but not care us at all.He really egoist, licking the boots of the boss, care just his reputation and his salary, always blame everything we work . More i hate is every time we ask to more salary, he just said we must request directly to HR. But HR in here said if we want request salary we must told to the boss and we boss come to HR. Cos just boss know we worthy to get more salary or not, my boss more know exactly how we work. When we said that to him, he just said ok. But after 1 month he said HR said no have budget this time to raise we salary. So am decide to ask HR why we can't get salary? the HR said.... after we talking with you boss about you performed we decide you not yet accomplish standard to get raise salary. Can you believed? God i hate him.

I think my first boss is a good man and I like him to be my boss, however,I gave up that job a long time ago because it was not the job suit me.
He is a young Russian only two years older than me,I got this from the conversation between him and a colleague when I still worked in his private office at the first week, there was not my sit outside that time.He took conversations with his underling very ofen and kept intimate relations with them, except me.That's my fault. You know I'm a introverted girl and that's my first time to take a job after graduation, and I must talk with him in English, all of this made me nervous to talk with him though he just sat beside me.He's a good temper person and sometimes really still a little boyish, nevertheless,he is young and promising.
I haven't kept contaction with him after left, but sometimes I will miss this first boss.Oh,I have almost forgotten that the frequent Chinese he used to speak is "ma ya". ^^ His name is Rushilan.

Well yes my boss is really cool and understands the situations. He never burst out or irritate rather he never has headweights and dictating. I feel good about it.

My boss is alright. Although, there are times when I'd love to hit him upside the head with my pizza bag. At times, when he tells us stuff, I don't think he means it to happen this way, but it's almost as if he was acting like we didn't know what we're doing.
I mean, I know I'm crazy at times, but I'm not stupid.

Hello my friend kaka1356 Ji,
I think your boss has eaten the nuts of management, and I am sure that he would produce better results in comparision withhis counterpart. By the way, does he/she knows all names of your and staff member's chidren, does he/she ask about their shooling/helath etc. Does he/she takes you all for outing/excursion etc. If added, then it will become family bussiness and will stilladd another feather to his/her administration. may god bless hom you and your staff and hae a graet time.
