i like all kind of shopping whether it is street or shopping mall. monestry, palika, janpath & sarojni market are some places where you do shopping at cheap price for better quality. Mall shopping i preffer in sale season.

I usually prefer shopping in the malls, where it's cooler and the prices are displayed. Street shopping is fun too; only that it's hot, and there are too many people. It also means bargaining, something which I don't really enjoy. The only things that I enjoy street shopping is food and books.

There aren't many street shopping places here where I live. There are outlet malls which are based outside and you just walk from store to store, but those aren't great for when it rains outside. I prefer to shop inside an actual mall. It seems safer and is easier for me since I don't have to worry about cars driving around or people on bikes.

Street Shopping & Mall Shopping are both good, but I prefer Street Shopping because there you can bargain for things & get your product at a better price; whereas in mall shopping the products are expensive although more variety is available. In street shopping also if you go to many shops then you will get a large variety of choices & due to competition from other shops you will also get a good bargain.

I think I love shopping in a mall the best. Everything is there at my fingertips, and I don't have to leave to get anything until it's time for me to go home. It's all good.

I like shopping in general. but if I had to choose, I'd go with mall shopping just so there is air con inside. I also like having restaurants and a washroom on every floor. But street shopping is ideal if you like scoring crazy bargains. Sure, the weather might just ruin a shopping trip, and you might have to bump into a lot of other shoppers, but if you find really good buys then it'll be worth it.

I like both, but I usually prefer street shopping. There are more unique shops outside the malls at least in my town and street shopping is more interesting. In winter I prefer malls, though. When it is cold outside, it is nice to walk around inside, and it is convenient to have lot of shops at one place.

I do shopping at both place because there are many things I can buy in cheapest price and I have also take a discount. Unlike in malls most of the price there are fix in one price and you cannot add to another discount. I can also go to malls depend on the items that I wanted to get if clothes I possibly go to malls but if it was just an ordinary things like needs in the kitchen it will be fine in the street stores. Better to go both.

hi there akangirl! although i am a guy (most cultures don't expect guys to like shopping. hehehe), i like shopping because of the experience and the goodies i get along the way.
in the Philippines, i prefer shopping in malls because there are better varieties and the environment is much more comfortable (e.g. airconditioned, organised layout, no thieves, no cheaters). parking is also easier. LOL. although there are very cool street markets in the country, chances are you are at risk of losing your wallet or cellphone to thieves or pickpockets, even if you are very alert.
if i was outside the Philippines, especially during my trip to Hong Kong, i liked street shopping better than mall shopping. sorry to the people in Hong Kong, but i found their shopping malls boring, with not much choices. two malls come into mind: Wing On and Sogo (although Sogo is a japanese mall). the malls are too elegant and formal, and the choices are kinda bland. sorry. =) but i love their street markets because they're extremely festive (Night Market, Jade Market, etc) and fun. plus the fact that you can get great bargains and it's 100% safe (we saw a lot of HK policemen walking around the street markets), street shopping in Hong Kong is a lot more fun than plain mall shopping there.
thanks and more power to you! =)
